As a graduate of Cumberland College in
Williamsburg, Kentucky, Marcy has always been interested in being a
public servant and advocate for cooperation at all levels of
government.
After a career ending parachute
accident, Marcy left the military and began working in the IT
industry. Currently owner of J&M Solutions, a computer firm, Marcy is
a member of the Greenhorn Valley Baptist church, President of the Rye
Elementary Parent Teachers Organization, and a strong voice in the
fight for quality education.
Living on the Lazy Dog Ranch just
outside Colorado City, Marcy and her husband are raising their three
sons, Casey, Caleb, and Kyle, who attend school at Rye Elementary.
She is proud of her sons’ successes, and credits the Rye school
system with providing her children an education that is preparing them
for their future.
Marcy personifies both leadership
and teamwork; as a leader in the community she believes that as a
team, the Colorado House of Representatives, citizens, and taxpayers
can work together to give Southern Colorado a brighter future.
